1. Colorado Springs Police Department
01/07/09
In September of 2008, the Colorado Internet Crimes Against Children Task
Force, (ICAC) received a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing
and Exploited Children (NCMEC). This tip reported that the picture
sharing service Flickr had discovered 455 images of suspected child
pornography were upload to a Flickr account using an IP address that
traced back to a residence in Colorado Springs. The Yahoo! user "jenifer_j_1985"
had uploaded the images. After review by NCMEC 22 images were
confirmed to be child pornography. After further investigation, it
was discovered that 38 year old Jeffrey Alan Pyles was the
account holder for the IP address. After conducting a search
warrant at his residence, CSPD was able to determine that Mr. Pyles did
have child pornography on his computer. Mr. Pyles was charged with
Sexual Exploitation of Children, a class 4 Felony.
2. Douglas County Sheriff's Office
01/08/09
After
a four month long investigation by the Douglas County Sherriff’s Office
and the Las Cruces Police Department, 45 year old Joseph Gallardo
(DOB 06-04-63) was taken into custody on 2 counts of Sexual
Exploitation of a Child and 4 counts of Promotion of Obscenity to a
Minor. Gallardo, using the screen name "thechosenone_lcnm",
was talking to two separate children, 12 and 13 year old girls, and sent
them various forms of pornography and instructed both girls to commit
sexually explicit acts. Gallardo was taken into custody without
incident at his home in
3. ICE / New Zealand Customs Service / Colorado Springs Police Department
01/16/09
During
2007, the New Zealand Customs Service arrested Jeffrey Milton for
distribution of child pornography. During a forensic examination of
Milton's computer, leads were developed for person’s actively trading
child pornography worldwide. A lead was sent to the United States
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Yuma, Arizona. ICE opened
an investigation into the distribution of child pornography and
developed information that lead to an address in Colorado Springs,
Colorado.
Investigators from the Colorado ICE Office, detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit, and Crimes Against Children Unit today executed a search warrant at the residence of Kyle G. SPEED, age 52, of Colorado Springs, who was not present at the time. Items consistent with the possession of child pornography were recovered during the search of the home.
Mr. Speed was subsequently arrested without incident at Spring Creek Youth Services Center, where he was teaching as part of his employment with Colorado Springs School District 11 as a substitute teacher. He has been charged with Sexual Exploitation of Children, a class three (3) felony, and was booked into the El Paso Criminal Justice Center. The investigation into additional activities is still on-going.
4. Canyon City Police Department / Fremont County CIRT

After a three year nine month investigation, the Canon City ICAC and
the Fremont County CIRT team arrested 23 year old James Ciric
DOB/043085. During the course of the investigation, he moved from

year old Kenneth A. Goldman was taken into custody in Chicago
on an arrest warrant issued by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office
on the charges of Promotion of Obscenity to a Minor and Internet
Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
The investigation began in October 2008 when Goldman, using the
screen name "johntoes", contacted a 12 year old girl online and had
sexually explicit conversations with her. Goldman instructed the
child to engage in sexually explicit acts involving urine.
6. Colorado Springs Police Department / Brevard County Sheriff's Office, FL / ICE
In
September 2008, Colorado ICAC began an online investigation with a party
using the screen name "naughtylilgirl2285" on Yahoo. This
suspect was later identified as 23 year old Carla Lynette Gordon
of Florida. Ms Gordon told detectives that she had sexual
relations with her daughter and sent sexually explicit images of a
prepubescent girl who was presumably her daughter. The account was
traced back to Florida despite Ms. Gordon having a West Virginia
Driver's License. The case was referred to the Brevard County
Sheriff's Office who completed a search warrant at the residence and
arrested Ms. Gordon for Distribution of Child Pornography.
7. Park County Sheriff's Office / Colorado Springs Police Department
01/22/09
The Park County Sheriff's Office began an investigation into the distribution of child pornography in Colorado via peer to peer networks in October of 2008. Detectives from PCSO received 7 videos containing child pornography from a suspect later identified as 23 year old Mark William Lee of El Paso County. The Colorado Springs Police Department obtained a search warrant for the suspects address and with the help of ICE, FBI, El Paso County Sheriff's Office and Monument Police Department, recovered several computers and items of media. CSPD completed a forensic examination of the media and discovered 29 images and 32 videos containing children being sexually assaulted. On 01/22/09, Mr. Lee turned himself in to Detectives and was charged with two counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children. One class 3 felony for Distribution and one class 4 felony for possession of child pornography.
8. Colorado Springs Police Department
01/22/09
In 2008, the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office in Washington State began an investigation into someone talking to a 12 year old girl and arranging a meeting for sex. That person was discovered to be 26 year old Benjamin Clinton Stribling of Colorado Springs. During the course of assisting with this investigation, Members of the Colorado ICAC discovered child pornography on Mr. Stribling's computer. They also discovered several chats and emails exchanged with what appeared to be underage girls in which he was trying to arrange a meeting for sex or get nude images of them. While investigation is still continuing, at least one local victim has been located. A warrant was issued for Sexual Exploitation of Children, class 4 felony and Internet Luring of a Child, class 4 felony. Mr. Stribling was served the charges in the Cowlitz County Jail where he is awaiting trail for the 2008 charges.

On
01/30/09, 20 year old Timothy Hostetter was arrested by the
Denver Police Department for Sexual Exploitation of Children.
During the Democratic National Convention, Hostetter, a U.S. Army
reservist, loaned his computer to some friends. While using the
computer, the friends observed child pornography on it and contacted
authorities. Hostetter gave consent to search his computer and
approximately 60 images/movies of child pornography were found.
Hostetter is being held on a $50,000.00 bond.

County S.O. ICAC unit began an investigation into the online
exploitation of a 12 year old female. During their two month
investigation, it was learned that Kevin Taft, a 39 year

year old Ronald Ralph Simpson Jr. was arrested for Sexual
Exploitation of Children. Agents with Immigration and Customs
Enforcement received information that Simpson was distributing child
pornography via peer-to-peer networks. A search warrant was obtained
for Simpson’s apartment and was executed by the La Plata County
Sherriff’s Office and ICE. The investigation revealed that Simpson had
more than 1000 printed pictures of child pornography and hundreds of CDs
containing thousands of child pornography images in his possession.

In December
of 2007, the Colorado Springs Police Department ICAC began investigating
the distribution of child pornography via peer to peer network in
Colorado. A computer was discovered to be distributing sexually
explicit videos of children. The computer was traced back to Fort
Carson and the barracks room of U.S. Army Specialist Steaven
Bilderbeck. CSPD notified the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation
Division whose seized Spc. Bilderbeck's computer and performed a
forensic examination. Sexually exploitative images and videos of
children were discovered on the hard drive. On 02/10/09 Spc.
Bilderbeck was indicted in an article 32 hearing in military court.
Charges equate to Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography.
16. Parker Police Department

The
Parker Police Department arrested 26 year old Anthony D. Oliver
from his place of employment in Denver, Colorado on charges of
Internet Luring, Internet Exploitation of a Child, and Criminal Attempt
Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
In October 2008, Oliver contacted a juvenile female online in Parker. The chats turned sexual in nature and several meets were scheduled by Oliver with the last one planned for Monday, February 16, 2009. Oliver backed out of the meets for various reasons. During chats with Oliver, he had the girl view him on web cam while he masturbated and had also instructed the girl to take nude photos of herself and email them to him. During the interview, Oliver admitted to the charges and also admitted to accepting child pornography pictures from a male he met in a chat room.

17. FBI / Aurora Police Department / Englewood Police Department / Denver Police Department
02/25/09
After a 9
month long investigation that involved 3 FBI offices, the U.S.
Attorney's Office, and three local Task Force agencies, A 17 year old
male was arrested for Sexual Exploitation of Children. On two
separate occasions, undercover agents downloaded images of child
pornography via peer-to-peer software from an IP address. On
10/16/08 FBI Agents, and Detectives from Denver, Englewood and Aurora PD
served a search warrant at the residence. The suspect's computer
was seized and taken to the Rocky Mountain Regional Computer Forensics
Lab for examination. A forensic examination of the computer
revealed numerous images of child pornography on the system. The
Juvenile male was in custody at the Marvin J. Foote Center on un-related
charges when an arrest warrant was issued for him. Due to the
suspect being a juvenile, no photo or name will be released.

Littleton
Police detectives arrested 20 year old Garret Crawford for
possession of child pornography. Crawford was already on Probation for
a previous sex offense and is a registered sex offender. While
conducting a home visit and compliance check with Crawford, his
Probation Officer discovered child pornography on Crawford’s laptop. A
forensic exam was conducted on Crawford’s computer and a search warrant
was executed on his residence where more child pornography was
discovered. Mr. Crawford was charged with Sexual Exploitation
of Children.
21. Colorado Springs Police Department / El Paso County Probation / U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
03/09/09
In late January 2009,
the Colorado Springs Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children
Unit (ICAC) was contacted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
from the Oklahoma City office regarding an individual living in Colorado
Springs. Agents of the Oklahoma ICE had identified Robert Wesley Bell,
Age 51, as a person trading child pornography. As a result of this
information, a joint Colorado Springs ICE and CSPD ICAC investigation
was initiated. During the course of this delving, it was learned that
Bell was on probation for Sexual Exploitation of Children, and that he
is a registered a sex offender currently residing at 120 W. Van Buren
Street, #13, in close proximity to two (2) elementary schools. On March
9, 2009 while conducting follow up in this investigation, Fourth
Judicial District Probation Officers contacted Bell at his residence.
During a review of his computer, which is within the scope of such a
home visit, images of suspected child pornography were found. ICAC
Investigators were contacted and during a subsequent search of the
residence, items were found that indicated Bell may have been
victimizing children in the Colorado Springs area. Additionally, the
investigation has developed further indications that Bell may have been
in contact with children very recently. Because Bell was previously a
minister, youth minister and a certified counselor, the Colorado Springs
Police Department ICAC Unit is urging anyone who may know or might have
been a victim of Mr. Bell to come forward. Those persons should contact

(7867). Bell was taken to the EL Paso County Criminal Justice Center for
the probation violation, and was given a new charge of Sexual
Exploitation of Children. Additional charges are expected in
the Federal system for distribution of child pornography. This is Mr.
Bell's 3rd arrest for similar crimes since 2006.
22. Colorado Springs Police Department / Colorado Probation
03/12/09
On
March 12, 2009, a Fourth Judicial District Probation Officer was
conducting a home visit of Registered Sex Offender identified as
Patrick Scott Page, Age 25, at 1419 W. Pikes Peak Avenue. Mr. Page
is on probation for Sexual Exploitation of a Child. During a
review of Page’s computer, which is within the scope of such a home
visit, the probation officer discovered suspected child pornography
which is in violation of Page’s probation rules. The Colorado Springs
Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit was
notified and assistance was requested. A joint Probation and Police
investigation was initiated and detectives responded to the scene.
During further analysis of the computer, additional suspected images of
child pornography were found. It was also learned that Page had been
accessing an unsecured wireless network belonging to a neighbor. Using
the neighbor’s Internet access without their permission, Page would
download the child pornography using a “peer to peer” software program.
As a result of this inquiry, Patrick Scott Page was charged with
Sexual Exploitation of Children, a felony, and a probation
violation. He was taken to the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.
23. Boulder Police Department / FBI
03/12/09
In
November of 2008, the Boulder Police Department received
information from the FBI regarding a suspect in Boulder County who was
suspected of distributing child pornography. Investigators
obtained search warrants and identified the suspect as 65 year old
Brian Robertson. The investigation resulted in the arrest of
Robertson for Sexual Exploitation of Children. It also
revealed that Mr. Robertson previously worked as a youth soccer coach
in the Boulder area. If you have any information about Mr.

year old John Hansen and a 15 year old male were both arrested by
the Ft. Collins Police Department for Sexual Exploitation of Children,
multiple counts of Sexual Assault and other related charges. The
investigation revealed that both suspects held a 14 year old female
against her will and recorded themselves sexually assaulting her. A
digital video camera and computer were seized during the execution of a
search warrant and the video was recovered during a forensic search of
each. The search of the camera also revealed a second 10 year old
victim being sexual assaulted by the 15 year old Juvenile whose
photograph is unavailable due to his age.

In
December 2008, the Colorado Springs Police Department discovered that a
subject using the Yahoo! screen name of “sltmomy” had both
transmitted and received images of illicit child pornography via the
internet in the Spring of 2008. This information was developed following
the issuance of a search warrant for the contents and contacts in
another target’s e-mail account. Following issuance of additional
legal process, it was determined that the sender/recipient of the
illicit images used a computer located at 78 Parkwoods Road, Manhasset,
NY. The sender of the e-mail has portrays that “she” (“Taylor”) is
mother of several young female children under the ages of 16, and that
she and her husband frequently engage in sexual activity with these
children and “Fritz” the dog. The New York State Police were
contacted and took over the investigation in New York.
Investigation revealed that the sender/recipient of said images was
actually THOMAS LIBBY, a divorced 55 year old male, and that the
images are not that of any children related to him. On 04/06/09
Mr. Libby was arrested on state charges related to child pornography.
In 2007 the FBI in Grand Rapids, Michigan received information that a Yahoo! user “sltmommy” had conversed over the internet with another person, with “sltmommy” claiming she is a 40 year old bisexual female named “Taylor”, who again claims to engage in sexual activity with her young daughters. The suspect had sent via the internet, the identical child pornography images. Legal process was served by the FBI and revealed that the images were sent from a computer located at 78 Parkwoods Road, Manhasset NY. Case referred to FBI - Melville, Long Island Office. NY State Police and FBI executed a search warrant on 03/20/09 at Mr. Libby's residence. CCU personnel conducted previews - several hundred sexually explicit images of underage children were located - including images and videos of child bestiality. Approximately 450 images/videos were located at that time mostly on an external device. It is believed significant number of additional images may still be located on device and on one of the suspect's PC's which were seized. The FBI lodged Federal Arrest Warrant for Title 18 USC 2252(a)(1) Distribution of Child Pornography at Nassau County Court on 04/07/09.

In
May of 2008, the Colorado Springs Police Department was contacted by
local Defense Contractor Lockheed Martin and informed that during an
internal investigation, they had discovered one of their employees at
the time, 48 year old Scott Howard Vaughn had a large amount of
child pornography images on his work system. CSPD responded and
obtained the system from Lockheed Martin. After a forensic
examination of the computer, it was discovered that Mr. Vaughn had used
the system to download and post images of child pornography on UseNet
groups. Mr. Vaughn also had videos of child pornography on the
system. AMr. Vaughn was arrested on 04/07/09 without incident at
his home after an arrest warrant was issued for him for Sexual
Exploitation of Children.
32. Aurora Police Department / Colorado Springs Police Department

In December
of 2008 the Aurora Police Department conducted an investigation into the
sharing of child pornography files via peer to peer networks in
Colorado. During this investigation they downloaded numerous child
pornography files from a suspect IP address. After legal process
it was determined that the IP address belonged to a Colorado Springs
resident. Colorado Springs Police obtained a search warrant in
January of 2009 for the residence and during the course of the
investigation, were able to determine that the a 17 year old neighbor
had used the wireless connection to trade child pornography. The
juvenile's computer was seized and examined in the forensic lab.
The examination revealed that photos depicting the sexual exploitation
of children were not age appropriate with one victim estimated to be 5-7
years of age. On 04/07/09 the juvenile male turned himself in at
the Colorado Springs Police Department and was arrested for Sexual
Exploitation of Children. Because the arrestee is a juvenile, no
name or photo will be released.

for Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child and Promotion of
Obscenity to a Minor. Since December 2008, Meek, who lives in
Castle Rock, CO, had been having an online relationship with a 12 year
old female. On multiple occasions Meek sent webcam images of himself
masturbating. A search warrant was executed at Meek’s residence and he
was taken into custody without incident. Meek was using the screen
names "niceomaha" and "castlerockmale".

The
Colorado Springs Police Department regularly receives tips from the
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding suspected
online exploitation. The CSPD Internet Crimes Against Children Unit
received such a tip on April 2, 2009, regarding someone locally posting
suspected sexually exploitative images of children in an online forum.
With assistance from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents,
detectives from the ICAC Unit followed up leads from the tip and
executed a search warrant at the residence of Jaime Bush Schneider,
Age 42, of Colorado Springs. During the course of the inquiry, it was
learned that Mr. Schneider was employed by School District 20 as a music
teacher. Evidence consistent with the distribution of sexually
exploitative images of children was recovered during the search. There
is no evidence to date that the computer contained images or video of
children living in the Colorado Springs area. On April 15, Mr. Schneider
was arrested without incident and placed into the El Paso County
Criminal Justice Center on the charge of Sexual Exploitation of
Children, a class four Felony.

Hood, TX on an outstanding arrest warrant for Internet Sexual
Exploitation of a Child, Promotion of Obscenity to a Minor and Criminal
Attempt Sexual Exploitation of a Child. On 04/23/09, the Douglas
County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into Ware’s online
activities. It was discovered that Ware had been chatting with a 12
year old girl. During his conversations with the girl, Ware taught the
girl how to masturbate and sent her nude photographs of himself. It was
learned that Ware, who is a resident of La Junta, CO, was a soldier in
the US National Guard and was at

warrant obtained by the Denver Police Department. Mr. Andersen
contacted a juvenile female online and directed her to masturbate both
online and on the phone. Mr. Andersen was charged with Internet
Sexual Exploitation of Children.
42. Denver Police Department
23
year old Stephen Vega was arrested by the Denver Police Department as a
result of a peer to peer network investigation into the trading of child
pornography in Colorado. A search warrant was executed at Mr.
Vega's house and he confessed to having trading child pornography in
this manner. Mr. Vega was charged with Sexual Exploitation of
Children. Currently no photo of the arrestee is available.
43. Colorado Springs Police Department / ICE Alabama
05/04/06
At the end of 2008, the Colorado Springs Police
Department began an investigation into a party streaming the
exploitation of a child including beastiality via webcam on the
internet, which is still ongoing. Several other persons were
identified as having traded child pornography with the original suspect.
One of these parties turned out to be Clyde Eugene Paul Jr. of
Loxley, Alabama. The case was referred to ICE in that jurisdiction
who coordinated with CSPD throughout. Mr. Paul confessed to
downloading and possessing child pornography and In early May 2009 Mr.
Paul was indicted in Federal court in Alabama for Possessoin /
Receipt / Distribution of Child Pornography. On 05/04/09 Mr.
Paul was arrested without incident.

year old Justin Barrios was arrested by the Denver Police
Department for Internet Luring of a Child, Internet Sexual
Exploitation of a Child and Enticement of a child. Barrios, who
used the screen name jmonstercock, contacted a juvenile female in
a chat room and masturbated on web cam. Barrios then arranged to meet
the girl for the purpose of sexual contact. Barrio was arrested when he
arrived at the location to meet the girl.

year old Skyler Ross was arrested by the Adams County Sheriff’s
Office for Sexual Assault on a Child. On 04/03/09, the Denver
Police Department received a Cybertip from the National Center for
Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), reporting that an adult woman
posted in a chat room that her 21 year old boyfriend was having a sexual
relationship with her 13 year old sister. Denver PD researched the
information and was able to identify the involved parties, including
Ross. It was determined that none of the parties lived in
47. Sterling Police Department
05/20/09
On
April 15, 2009, the Sterling Police Department received a “CyberTip”
from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force of Colorado. A
Sterling resident, had reportedly been chatting over the internet with a
juvenile girl, age15, living in Tennessee. These chats were sexually
explicit in nature.
An investigator from the Sterling Police Department assumed the identity of the victim and began chatting with the suspect. The chats continued to be sexually explicit and through the chats, the suspect believed two juvenile girls were traveling from Tennessee to Sterling to meet him.
The suspect was identified as 26 year old Jason Jimenez. At approximately 9:30 pm on May 20, 2009 investigators executed a search warrant on Mr. Jimenez’s home. Mr. Jimenez was arrested later that evening at the Sterling Police Department. Mr. Jimenez is being held at the Logan County Jail on felony charges of, Sexual Exploitation of a Child, Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child and Internet Luring of a Child.

In
February of 2009, a citizen found a notebook near a dumpster in Colorado
Springs which had writings concerning child pornography and fantasizing
about students. The writer stated that they taught language at
Woodland Park High School. With the assistance of Woodland
Park Police, the suspect was discovered to be 35 year old Jonathan
McPhee, a Colorado Springs resident. Internet Crimes
Detectives visited McPhee and he admitted to having a problem in this
areana. He consented to a search of his computer and child

with her. Thompson then sent images of his penis and adult pornography
to the girl. Thompson was arrested by Aurora PD after leaving his job

December of 2008, the Colorado Springs Police Department Internet Crimes
Against Children Unit began an investigation into the sharing of Child
Pornography in Colorado Springs via the internet. CSPD obtained
child pornography images from a suspect and traced the distribution to
20 year old Billy Jones of Colorado Springs. On 05/28/09 an
arrest warrant was issued for Mr. Jones for Sexual Exploitation of
Children, and he was taken into custody at his residence without
incident. Police are concerned with videos they located on Mr.
Jones computer of a teenage girl performing sexual acts, which appear to
be recorded in Mr. Jones bedroom. If you are this girl or have any

April of 2009, investigators at the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation
Division contacted the Colorado Springs Police Department regarding a
soldier, 24 year old David James Allen, possibly involved with
child pornography. Mr. Allen's wife discovered images in his email
she believed to be underage girls as well as inappropriate chats with
underage girls. Mrs. Allen turned the computer over to military
authorities who determined that the couple lived off base and the
activity had occurred in Colorado Springs. CSPD took over the
investigation and after a forensic examination determined that Mr.
Allen, a Military Police Officer, was in fact involved with downloading
and viewing child pornography and beastiality. On 06/01/09, Mr.
Allen turned himself into police and was arrested for Sexual
Exploitation of Children.

investigation with the arrest of Marc Lindholm, age 52, of
Edwards, Colorado. Detectives from the ECSO ICAC unit went to Lindholm’s
place of employment on Tuesday June 2, 2009 and took him into custody on
an Eagle County arrest warrant charging Lindholm with Sexual
Exploitation of Children (possession of child pornography: 20+
images), a class four felony. This arrest by the Eagle County Sheriff’s
Office developed after an initial FBI investigation into Lindholm
regarding a world-wide child pornography and child erotica
investigation.

On
06-04-09, David Johnson, a 23 year old man from Maine, was
arrested by the Denver Police Department for Internet Luring of a
Child, Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child, Inducement of Child
Prostitution, Pandering of a Child and Attempt Sexual Assault of a Child.
Johnson, who is an over the road trucker, contacted a juvenile female in
Denver online and had a sexually explicit conversation with her. After
the conversations ensued, Johnson sent images of his penis and offered
her money to perform sexual acts. Johnson arranged to meet the girl at a
Kmart parking lot, where he could park his tractor trailer. Johnson was
taken into custody when he arrived at the meeting location.

In March 2008, Hintz
contacted a juvenile female in Parker online. The chats slowly turned
sexual in nature and Hintz began requesting that he and the girl meet
for sexual purposes. Hintz also requested to speak with several of the
girl’s friends. Additionally, Hintz had stated to the girl that he was
planning on leaving the country on June 26, 2009, for

June , 25, 2009, the Aurora Police Dept. arrested 24 year old Bobby
James Doss for Pimping of a Child (F3), after the APD Vice
and Narcotics section conducted an undercover operation involving
Craigslist and Backpage.com. Investigators found a 17 year old girl
advertising her services on-line, and once arrested was interviewed by
investigators from ICAC and Vice and Narcotics. At that time it was
determined that Doss was pimping her out using a computer at a “cousins”
house. The computer and cell phones were seized as was the Cadillac
Doss was driving. Doss was held on a $50,000 bond, which he posted the
same night.

on charges of Sexual Exploitation of Children. A tip was
called in to the police department which led to the seizure of Mr.
Groves work computer and ultimately his work and home accounts were
discovered to contain child pornography.

online trading of child pornography via peer to peer networks and
discovered a computer in Colorado offering to share sexually

to a residence in Loveland, CO and referred to Loveland PD.
Loveland completed a warrant at the suspect's residence and discovered
that he had numerous files of child pornography. 31 year old
David Coney was charged with an Sexual Exploitation of a child
(F3 distribution) and an F4 Sexual Exploitation of a child (F4
possession of 20+). His bond was set at $20,000 and he recently
posted bond.

July CSPD Patrol was dispatched to a theft investigation, which was
handled by an officer recently out of investigations. During the
course of the investigation, it was discovered the suspect, 29 year old
Allen Leroy Simons III was a registered sex offender.
Additionally, the victim had recently reported to DHS concern about Mr.
Allen being around small girls. The officer asked for consent to
search the computer which was granted. The computer was brought to
the CSPD Internet Crimes Against Children Unit and a forensic preview
yielded numerous images of child pornography. A full forensic
examination was requested and Mr. Allen was arrested for Sexual
Exploitation of Children. Additional charges could be
forthcoming based on the result of the forensic examination.

female, then arranged to meet the girl in person for sex. When Pixler
was arrested, he had condoms and his laptop in his possession.

04-09-09, a search warrant was executed at the residence of 47 year old
Mark Allen Rawson by members of ICE and the La Plata County
Sheriff's Office. Wyoming ICAC forward information to ICE that Rawson
was downloading child exploitation material using a P2P network. During
the search Rawson turned over several CDS that contained child
exploitation images and videos.
After the
Child Victim Identification Program report was received from the
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, an arrest warrant
was obtained for Rawson. Mr. Rawson turned himself in on the warrant and
was booked into the La Plata County Jail for Sexual Exploitation of
Children.
88. Fort Collins Police Department
In
2007, the Fort Collins Police Department began an investigation into the
online activities of 20 year old Andrew James Kroll. It was
discovered that Kroll, posing as a 16 year old female, had contacted two
juvenile
While waiting for the computer forensics to be completed, Kroll, using the same screen name, contacted another juvenile male. Kroll threatened to post nude photos of the boy on the Internet if the boy didn't masturbate in a pair of boxer shorts and leave them in the street for him. A second search warrant was executed at Kroll’s residence based on the new investigation, but no computers were located.
After computer forensics were completed, it was discovered that Kroll was in possession of over 1200 images and 500 videos of child pornography. Kroll was arrested and charged with multiple counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children, Criminal Extortion and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

In
2008, the Colorado Springs Police Dept. ICAC unit conducted an
investigation into the distribution of child pornography. Dozens of
suspects were identified across the world. One of the suspects was
identified as David Carlton Hargrave of Pensacola, FL. CSPD
forwarded the information to the Pensacola Police Dept. Follow-up
investigation revealed that Hargrave was the manager of a family
amusement park. In the early part of 2009, search warrants were executed
at Hargrave's residence. He was found to have possessed and distributed
images of child pornography and was arrested for the Sexual
Exploitation of Children by Pensacola PD. In July 2009 Hargrave was
sentenced to two years in prison followed by 25 years of probation.

year old Joe Rossi arranged to meet a juvenile female from an
online chat room to "trade" oral sex. Mr. Rossi arrived at the
prearranged meet location and was arrested by Denver Police Detectives.
Mr. Rossi was charged with Internet Luring of a Child.

Boggs, age 33, of Avon was arrested for Felony Possession
and Distribution of Material Involving the Sexual Exploitation of
Children (Child Porn). During a search of Boggs’s residence at the
Aspens Mobile Home Park on August 5, 2009 Detectives from the ECSO ICAC
unit, with assistance from the Avon Police Department, located and
seized computers that will be forensically analyzed.
Boggs was transported
to the Eagle County Detention Facility and is currently being held on a
$30,000 bond.

October of 2008 the Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation Section in
Canada began an investigation into the NIng Network. A party using
the name Bud Wood, later identified as 63 year old Walter C. Wood Jr.
began posting images of child pornography to the network. After an
exchange of emails, the case was referred to ICE in Denver. ICE
obtained a search warrant for the suspects residence which was located
in Colorado Springs. ICE requested assistance with the execution
of the search warrant from CSPD ICAC. The case was later
transferred to CSPD ICAC. Mr. Wood who was discovered to have been
an Orthodox Priest, admitted to posting the messages and pornography.
After a review of the evidence an arrest warrant was issued by CSPD for
Mr. Wood, who was taken into custody without incident. Mr. Wood
was charged with Sexual Exploitation of Children for distribution
of child pornography.

D. Villalobos was present at the residence and admitted to having
downloaded child pornography on several occasions. Mr. Villalobos
later turned himself in at the Colorado Springs Police Department and
was charged with Sexual Exploitation of Children.

The
Colorado Springs Police Department was notified that a 14 year old had
been sexually assaulted by an adult male. Responding officers learned
that the juvenile victim had met the 21 year old male in an online
chat. During the course of those electronic conversations, they had
agreed to meet in person.
The investigation led officers and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) detectives to a male suspect later identified as Barry J. Wilson III, Age 21, of Colorado Springs. Detectives continued the inquiry, and found Mr. Wilson online. An arrangement to meet the suspect was accomplished by an undercover investigator who was purporting to be a 14 year old female. They agreed to meet in a park on the west side of Colorado Springs at a set time. The suspect appeared at the park, and was arrested without incident by detectives. During the subsequent follow up investigation it was discovered that Wilson had met with and sexually assaulted other juveniles, and detectives continue their delving into the total number and identity of additional victims.
Wilson was taken to the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center where he is being held on a One Hundred Thousand dollar ($100,000) bond for two (2) counts of Sexual Assault on a Child and one (1) count of Internet Luring.
101. Westminster Police Department
In early May of 2009, Westminster Police Department officers were
notified by a concerned girlfriend that she had viewed what she believed
to be multiple images of child pornography on her boyfriend’s computer.
The images were of girls between the ages of five and fourteen – fully
nude and displaying their genitals in a sexual manner. The
boyfriend was later identified as 38 year old Christopher Lee Wint.
Mr. Wint told Detectives that his computer did indeed have “thousands”
of “inappropriate” images of “underage” females and he had been
collecting them for years. Mr. Wint gave Detectives the computer and
signed a written consent to search. During a forensic examination
several thousand images of suspected child pornography were located and
approximately 175 images and 39 videos were bookmarked as clearly
depicting child pornography. The images were primarily of females
between the ages of 6 and 18. Several videos appeared to be of children
between the ages of 2 and 8 engaged in sexual acts with adults. In
early August of 2009, Mr. Wint turned himself in to the Westminster
Police Department. The case was presented to the Adams County District
Attorneys Office. Mr. Wint was charged with Sexual Exploitation of
Children (20+ images).

year old James McClelland was arrested as a resulted from a Cybertip
received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,
which reported child pornography being uploaded from an IP address in
Denver. A search warrant was executed at the residence which turned out
to be the house of Mr. McClelland's employer and a computer was
collected. Child pornography was located and Mr. McClelland turned
himself in several days later. He confessed to uploading the
sexually exploitative images of children and also mailing a USB device
containing child pornography. The case was transferred to the FBI's
Innocent Images taskforce. No picture is available.

In
August of 2009, the Colorado Springs Police Department began an
investigation into the trading of child pornography via peer to peer
networks in Colorado. The CSPD ICAC Unit was able to download
videos containing the sexual exploitation of children from what appeared
to be a Colorado Springs source. Further investigation revealed
that the suspect was actually located in the barracks at Fort Carson.
The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division was notified and they took
over the investigation. CSPD was notified in October that the
suspect was identified as 19 year old David Alberto Garcia.
Mr. Garcia was arrested and is awaiting trial on Fort Carson.

April 2009, the Fort Collins PD arrested then 31 year old JJ Luis
Alejandro for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. At the
time of his arrest, his cell phone was seized because police learned
that Alejandro took a photograph of his own penis and sent it to the
victim. While that above case was being investigated, three additional
victims came forward with allegations of sexual assault by juvenile
females, one resulting in the girl’s pregnancy. During the examination
of Alejandro’s phone, six images of child pornography of known victims
were recovered, two images of Alejandro engaging in sexual activity with
known children were recovered, and one image of an unidentified child
victim was recovered. To date, a total of nine juvenile victims were
located. Alejandro was arrested again on September 10, 2009 for the
additional charges. He has been charged with the Sexual Assault on a
Child, Sexual Assault, Sexual Exploitation of Children, Contributing to
the Delinquency of a Minor and Harassment.

Colorado Springs Police Department conducted an investigation into the
online trading of child pornography in the Colorado Springs are in
August of 2009. Transmission of child pornography was received
from a local IP address which police traced to a residence in the
downtown area. Police executed a search warrant at the address and
discovered that a 17 year old boy was responsible. Several images
and videos of child pornography were discovered on the suspect's
computer. The images contained children as young as toddlers and
the juvenile was arrested for Sexual Exploitation of Children.
Because of his age, no image or name will be released.

Saguache
County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43 year old Joseph Lukondi, of
Mosca, CO, on charges of Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child,
Enticement of a Child, Internet Luring of a Child, Sexual Exploitation
of Children and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. Lukondi
had been having online conversations with a woman and discussed bringing
his niece with him to meet the woman so they could all engage in sexual
acts together. The woman then introduced her juvenile niece to him.
Lukondi had sexual conversations with the girl, displayed himself on
webcam, and arranged to meet her in person for sex. The

year old Christopher Mallory Choate was arrested in Canon City by
members of the Fremont County Combined Investigative Response team.
Choate, a Pueblo resident, is believed to have traveled from Pueblo to
Canon City to meet with a 14 year old female for sex. This arrest
stems from a report to the Canon City Police Department by a concerned
parent. The parent contacted authorities after viewing suspicious
e-mails on her daughter’s computer. Choate has been charged with
the following felonies: Criminal Attempt, Enticement of a Child, Sexual
Assault on a Child, Internet Luring of a Child and Internet Sexual
Exploitation of a Child. Choate was taken to the Fremont County
Detention Center where he was held on a $50,000.00 cash only bond.

June of 2009 a 14 year old Fort Lupton girl was contacted by a party
using the YahooID and email address "beer_guy_man@yahoo.com". The
suspect purported himself to be a 24 year old male from Nortonville,
Kansas. The suspect was later identified as 25 year old Clifton
Sanders from Kansas. Mr. Sanders was arrested in Kansas and
extradited to Colorado for prosecution. Mr. Sanders was charged
with Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child and Internet Luring of a
Child.

Pennsylvania following an investigation during which the suspect
contacted a juvenile female on line and engaged in sexually related chat
and then masturbated on webcam. Investigation of the suspect’s computer
led to the discovery of numerous images of child pornography. Mr.
Fredericks was using the screen name rock7climbr69. Mr.
Fredericks faces charges in Colorado for Internet Sexual Exploitation
of Children and could face charges in Pennsylvania for possession of
child pornography.

into the trading of child pornography via peer to peer networks in
Colorado. This lead to a residence in Fountain, Colorado and 25

Sergeant Robert Summers. Fountain Police assisted with the
execution of a search warrant at the residence. Child pornography
was located on Mr. Summers computer which was taken during the execution
of a search warrant. Mr. Summers made several admissions, but
stated his activities were unintentional. Mr. Summers was arrested
for Sexual Exploitation of Children on 10/12/09.

10/13/09
The
Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency in Durango Colorado was
investigating the trading of child pornography in Colorado via peer to
peer networks and was able to download over thirty images and videos
containing the sexual exploitation of children. The IP address was
traced back to a residence in Colorado Springs and the lead was
forwarded to CSPD for additional follow up. The CSPD ICAC unit
obtained a warrant for the residence which was executed on 10/13/09.
44 year old Brian Michael (Benet) Griffin was arrested for
Sexual Exploitation of Children. Investigation into the volume
of files possessed by Mr. Griffin is ongoing.

the end of 2008 and beginning of 2009, the Denver Police Department
identified a subject that had been chatting with an underage Denver girl
and talking in a sexual manner. The suspect used the screen name "cowboyup_tyler"
and "soccer_guy_tj" and exposed himself on webcam to the underage
girl. Additionally, he asked the girl to produce images of
herself. The suspect was determined to live in Colorado Springs
and the case was referred to the CSPD ICAC Unit. The suspect was
identified as 23 year old Tyler Jame Guy. Mr. Guy admitted
to chatting sexually online but stated he did not believe it involved
underage girls. He also admitted to using Limewire to download
pornography and occasionally downloaded child pornography as a result.
Videos found on Mr. Guy's computer are still being analyzed to determine
if they constitute child pornography. Additionally Mr. Guy's email
revealed that he chatted sexually with at least 7 additional persons
that identified themselves to Mr. Guy as being 15 years old and under.
Investigation concerning these parties is still ongoing. Mr. Guy
was charged with Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child and
Promotion of Obscenity to a Minor. If you have any information

year old Stephen Andrew Hughes was arrested on an arrest warrant
following an investigation during which Hughes used the screen name
douknowwhatittakes and madofsteel to contact a juvenile
female. Hughes directed the juvenile girl to masturbate during the
online chats and on the phone. Hughes was arrested on 09-22-09 by

Colorado Springs Police Department received a Cybertip from the National
Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a party using the
America Online email address nightshadezombye@aol.com to distribute
sexually explicit images and video of prepubescent boys. The email
address was traced back to a Colorado Springs resident identified as 18
year old Kenneth Martinez. Mr. Martinez admitted to using the
email address to send and receive sexually explicit images of children.
It was also discovered that Mr. Martinez manufactured and distributed
sexually explicit images of himself prior to turning 18. Mr.
Martinez turned himself in and was charged with Sexual Exploitation of
Children.

February 2009 Denver began an investigation into the trading of child
pornography via peer to peer networks in Colorado and in March of 2009 a
search warrant was executed at the suspect's address.
Investigation revealed that a juvenile male was responsible for the
distribution of child pornography. A forensic exam led to the
discovery of numerous images and video containing the sexual
exploitation of children. The juvenile male was charged with
Sexual Exploitation of Children. Due to his age, a name and photo
will not be released.

officers when child pornography was located on his computer during a
probation compliance check. A search warrant for the computer
system was obtained by the Colorado Springs Internet Crimes Against
Children Unit and a forensic examination was completed by the Colorado
Springs Police Department Computer Forensics Laboratory. Mr.
Andersen was on federal probation of an original charge of possessing
child pornography while serving in the U.S. Army. New charges for
Sexual Exploitation of Children are Pending.

year old William Gerard Pedersen was arrested on an outstanding
arrest warrant issued by the Denver Police Department on the charge of
Sexual Exploitation of Children. DPD received a cybertip from the
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding the
distribution of child pornography. DPD’s investigation revealed that
Pedersen, using the screen name nawtuncle, had been trading
sexually explicit images of children. The investigation is continuing
regarding the other suspects Pedersen had been exchanging images with.

09/27/09, a Canon City Police Department ICAC investigator observed an
IP address in Canon City area that was sharing child pornography files
through peer-to-peer file sharing software. The investigation revealed
that the account belonging to William Augustus Daily was the one
seen distributing the child pornography files. A search warrant was
obtained for Daily’s residence and disks containing child pornography
were found. Daily was found to be the owner of the disks. On 10/27/09
Daily was arrested for Sexual Exploitation of Children and is
being held on $50,000.00 cash only bond.

year old Hunter Robinson was arrested for sexual exploitation
of children after the Eagle County Sheriff's Office completed an
investigation into child pornography distribution and possession at
Robinson's home in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The investigation began
in August 2009 when over 20 images of suspected child pornography were
downloaded via the internet by officers conducting the undercover
operation. Hunter admitted to the possession of the images which were
also discovered on his computer at his home during the search warrant.
Steamboat Springs Police Department assisted with the search warrant of
the home.

In
March of 2008 The Colorado ICAC began an investigation of several
individuals trading images and videos via the Internet depicting the
rape and sexual abuse of children. During the course of this
investigation one of the online accounts identified as "christopher1113"
was determined to be from Jackson County Oregon. The case was
forwarded to the Southern Oregon High Tech Crimes Task Force.
After a lengthy investigation they determined the account holder to be
21 year old Christopher Keith Eells of Central Point, Oregon.
Oregon ICAC obtained a warrant for Mr. Eells computer and
completed a forensic examination resulting in Mr. Eells being charged
with 15 counts of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse I and 15 counts
of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse II. Mr. Eells was held on
$750,000 bond in the Jackson County, Oregon Jail. This is the 6th
arrest in as many states related to this investigation.
Aurora
PD arrested 31 year old John Clinton Stahl on an arrest warrant
issued out of the Utah Attorney General’s office. Stahl had been
communicating via social websites, and e-mail with a juvenile female in
Utah since 2007. In addition, Stahl and the juvenile female had sent
numerous sexually explicit image and video files of themselves to one
another.

In early April of 2009, the Colorado Spring Police ICAC Unit obtained information via a peer to peer network of a computer located at a Westminster address that may contain images of suspected child pornography. Westminster Police Department began an investigation and a search warrant was executed at a Westminster residence. Several computers were seized and their owners/users were identified. The Rocky Mountain Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory conducted examinations on the seized computers. After six long months and numerous Orders for Production of Records, three adult brothers, living in their parents Westminster residence have been arrested for various charges related to Sexual Exploitation of a Child. The brothers have been identified as: (1) 20 year old Scott Joshua Reyes, (2) 33 year old Stephen Joseph Reyes and (3) 28 year old Sean Justin Reyes. Sean was also charges with Failure to Register as a Sexual Offender.

year old Kenneth Froehler was arrested in IL on an outstanding
arrest warrant issued by the Denver Police Dept. for Sexual
Exploitation of Children. A thumb drive belonging to Froehler was
located in the business center at a Denver motel. The thumb drive was
found to contain a large amount of child porn. Denver PD’s investigation
revealed that Froehler lived in Crystal Lake, IL. Denver PD coordinated
with law enforcement officials in McHenry County, IL. When the officers
made contact with Froehler at his residence, in addition to seizing his
computers, they found several pounds of marijuana in plain view and a
large marijuana grow in the crawl space. Further investigation into
Froehler’s activities is being conducted by IL law enforcement
officials.

year old Thomas Jaye Skillman was arrested by the Fort Collins
Police Dept. on the charges of Criminal Attempt to Commit Sexual
Exploitation of Children, Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child and
Internet Luring of a Child. On 06/21/09 a 13 year old female
student’s father reported to the Fort Collins Police Department that he
found emails and chats between his daughter and a teacher at Preston
Junior High School. The child’s father was aware of a rumor at school
that his daughter had kissed Skillman and felt the emails and chats he
found corroborated the rumor. The emails and chats included Skillman
asking the girl for nude photos of her and discussed kissing and having
sex with her. Skillman told the girl to destroy his emails and chats
because he could get into trouble. Skillman was interviewed by police
and admitted to asking the victim for a naked pictures, directed her to
"touch herself" and discussed foreplay with her. He also admitted to
talking with her over email and chat about meeting for sex.

school principle in Durango discovered a 7 year old in the possession of
a cellular telephone. Upon examination of the telephone the principle
located images of child pornography. The child admitted to taking the
phone from his mother’s boyfriend. During an interview with police
officers, Terry Beavers, age 37, admitted to downloading child
pornography to his cellular phone. Beavers, who is currently on
probation, was subsequently arrested on charges of Sexual
Exploitation of Children and Possession of Methamphetamine.

In
September 2009, the Denver Police Department began an investigation into
the distribution of child pornography. Their investigation revealed that
William Pederson had distributed images of child pornography on AOL via
email to other AOL users. Further follow up investigation conducted by
Denver PD revealed that one of the people Pederson was trading with was
34 year old Shawn Schrubb of Wadsworth, OH. Denver PD coordinated
with the Wadsworth PD and a search warrant was executed at Schrubb’s
residence. As the result of the joint investigation, Schrubb was
arrested in December 2009 for Sexual Exploitation of Children. Schrubb
admitted to collecting child pornography and said he enjoyed “being the
dad” of the children that were being sexually assaulted in the images he
collected

Police arrested Andrew Jackson Bradley for the Sexual
Exploitation of Children. On November 30th, 2009 Denver Police
responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle and upon attempting to
release the vehicle back to its owner (Bradley) observed numerous
photographs of child pornography in the interior of the vehicle. A
search of the vehicle located numerous DVD-RW discs with hand written
labels with obscene titles. A search warrant was completed on the DVD-RW
discs and a subsequent search of the discs revealed hundreds of videos
and images of child pornography. In the same DVD-RW disc was a video of
the suspect conducting explicit sexual conduct.

Helm, age 61 from Durango, was sentenced to 6 years in DOC, and 10
years to life probation. Durango PD learned that Helm had been having
sexually explicit online conversations with a juvenile male in Durango.
Helm then arranged to meet the boy in person for a sexual encounter.
Helm was arrested on 07/22/09 by Durango PD when he arrived to meet the
14 year old boy. Helm was in possession of valium, alcohol, condoms, and
chocolate syrup at the time of his arrest.

Police arrested 31 year old Jim Kim for Sexual Exploitation of
a Child. In May of 2009, CSPD ICAC Investigators conducted an
investigation into the trading of child pornography using a P2P network.
Investigators noticed an IP address which resolved to an Aurora address
was sharing child pornography. In September of 2009 a search warrant was
served on Kim’s residence, and evidence was collected. After forensics
were completed, it was determined that Kim had over 200 images of child
pornography, and numerous videos on a computer which was seized from his
bedroom.

58 year old Russell Glenn Taylor of Surfside Beach, SC. Denver PD
coordinated with the Horry County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina and
a search warrant was executed at Taylor’s residence. As the result of
the joint investigation, Taylor was arrested for Sexual Exploitation
of Children.
138. Aurora Police Department

On
December 15, 2009 Aurora PD arrested 41 year old Shawn Christopher
Eckles for Sexual Exploitation of Children. This was a result
of a P2P investigation conducted by APD on January of 2009. During the
execution of the search warrant on Eckles residence, investigators
observed drawings on the wall that seemed to depict abuse. As a result,
forensic interviews were conducted with Eckles’ children. Pursuant to
these interviews, it was learned that Eckles took numerous pictures of
the female child in her underwear, but no disclosure of sexual abuse was
made. Forensic exams were completed on Eckles’ computer and hundreds of
images of suspected child pornography were found on the submitted items.
139. Douglas County Sheriff's Office / Delta Police Department

The
Douglas County Sheriff’s Office ICAC unit was advised of an adult male
who was having inappropriate online contact with a juvenile female. It
was learned that a person using the screen name "johnbrn2000" had online
conversations with a juvenile male, during which sexually explicit
material was sent to the girl. DCSO obtained warrants and learned that
the suspect was using an internet connection at the Delta Colorado
Public Library. With the assistance of Delta Police Department, the
suspect was identified as 44 year old Milo Gonzales. On
12/21/09 DCSO ICAC detectives responded to Delta and located Gonzales.
Gonzalez was taken into custody on the charges of Internet Sexual
Exploitation of a Child (3 counts) and Promotion of Obscenity to a Minor
(1 count).
140. Fort Lupton Police Department

On
December 22, 2009, Fermin Lopez (DOB: 07/28/1970) was arrested by the
Fort Lupton Police Department for Sexual Assault on a Child and
Promotion of Obscenity to a minor. FLPD’s investigation revealed that
Lopez had performed sexual acts on a 7 year old girl over a period of
time. It was also learned that Lopez showed the girl pornographic
magazines and videos via the internet. A search warrant was conducted on
Mr. Lopez’ home and pornographic magazines were found and the computer
in the home was seized. A computer analysis on the computer resulted in
a video being found that corroborated the child’s statement.

Police arrested 29 year old James Matthew Currier as he exited a
flight from Chicago to pick up his kids for the holidays. It was
reported that in 2005 Currier had sexually assaulted his then 6 month
old daughter and 3 year old son in separate incidents. In addition
to those assaults, Currier would routinely view child pornography on the
family computer. The reporting party had never reported these incidents
to the authorities due to fear of Currier. The RP provided APD
Detectives with the computer which contained the suspected child
pornography. After Currier was arrested, APD Detectives
interviewed Currier who admitted to viewing child pornography as well as
his involvement in the sexual abuse of the children. Currier was
charged with Sexual Assault on a child-Position of trust, and Sexual
Exploitation of a Child.
